Hi! I'm Bethany and I've been designing digital experiences for over 5 years. I'm currently a product designer at Depop, working on the buyer experience. I enjoy reading about behavioural design & economics and in my free time, I’m a freelance illustrator of comics.
Since joining Depop, my focus has always been on the buyer experience. In my two years in the team, we’ve released some really successful features that have improved the buyer experience and helped users more easily find items they love.
My role consists of everything from researching, wireframing, user testing and prototyping to the final details of a finished feature. I also work with the PM to input into the roadmap, implementing accessible design practices and facilitating workshops with my team and other business areas. As a team, we’re very target driven and I'm proud to have been part of some amazing projects.
I’m proud to work in the secondhand fashion space, which means creating products that help transform the future of fashion.

I predominantly use Sketch / Protopie / Flinto / Whimsical day to day for design & prototyping.
In 2016, my student project 'Moloko', a kefir making kit, was featured in this book about Green Packaing Solutions
